The rectangular ceremonial chair cover embroidered in polychrome and gilt threads with two five-clawed dragons pursuing flaming pearls amid clouds and auspicious emblems, above stylized waves and mountain peaks. closed by the dark blue border decorated with alternating dragon medallions and auspicious symbols and backed in yellow silk .

Size: approximately 40 x 19 in.

Condition: Overall wear consistent with age and use, including fading, discoloration, creasing, scattered loose and pulled threads, small holes, tears. Embroidered decoration remains generally well preserved. Areas of separation or possibly repairs. The back yellow silk lining is in distressed condition with extensive deterioration.
