A Collection of Marigold Carnival GlassThe collection of Twenty Six pieces, all decorated with bead banded rims, scalloped forms, variously impressed with floral and berried vines.
Every Carnival Glass maker produced marigold colored pieces, possibly because it looked good against dark furniture, enlivened homes and was similar in appearance to some of the more expensive art glass.
The lot includes:
Imperial Glass Company or similar: Punch bowl with stand & 9 cups 'Fashion' pattern, Footed bowl 'Floral and Optic' pattern.
Fenton or similar: Panther Ruffled Master large berry bowl with 5 small footed bowls, Marigold 9 in. bowl 'Thistle' pattern, Handled dish 'Peacock Tail' pattern.

Five spherule footed bowls 2 1/2in h. 5in. d
One spherule footed sugar bowl
Three scalloped serving bowls, 6in, 8in, and 9in d.
