A Pair of Chinese Moss Agate Covered Boxes
Each of rectangular form with bracketed corners, the fitted cover enclosing a shallow interior, the stone of translucent gray, red and brown tone, with striking moss- like dendritic inclusions naturally forming picturesque landscape patterns. Each is raised on a fitted openwork carved hardwood reticulated stand.

Dimension: 4 3/4 inches width. Height with stand: 2 1/2 inches.

Condition: Overall in good condition. Minor surface wear and abrasions consistent with age and handling. Natural fissures and inclusions are inherent to the stone. The carved hardwood stands show expected minor wear. No apparent restoration observed under normal examination.
