Painted composition didactic model of the pharynx-larynx-lung, including major aortic arteries. After Josef Steger and Carl Ernst Bock, Leipzig, Germany. Possibly originally included removable heart and lung elements. Circa 1880. Label remains to lower edge "Materiale Consigliato dal Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione [material recommended by the Ministry of Education]." 15"h x 12"w x 4"d.
Restored and mounted to board. Bock-Steger Lips copper label appears to have been removed and or covered.
