Anatomical Wax Head Model
19th century European anatomical wax model of a human head, left profile, mounted on board. Realistic depictions of teeth, jaw, muscles, veins, facial hair, etc. Label and label remains on front of board. 15.5"h x 17.5"w x 6"d.
In the 18th and 19th centuries, students used intricate wax anatomical models that vividly represented organs, bones, and tissue.
