Woven in polychrome and gold-colored threads with a dragon pursuing a flaming pearl amid scrolling clouds, above cresting waves, rocks and auspicious emblems. A separated cloud-patterned band at one end, bordered in dark blue satin with turquoise edging and backed with plain fabric.
Size: 39 x 19 1/2 in.

Condition: Fading, discoloration, scattered staining, and pronounced fold creases. Areas of abrasion and thinning, with scattered thread losses to the woven decoration, particularly the dragon and lower wave border. Borders show wrinkles and minor wear.
