Late18th/early 19th Century
The rectangular Qiaotouan top with curved ends above pierced scroll carved spandrels raised on channel carved legs joined by pierced foliate carved panels.
36in. (91cm)h. 98in (242cm)l. 20in (51cm) d.
Condition: Scratches and dents to top surface
The Chinese term qiaotouan refers to the fact that the ends are raised.
According to the Palace Museum, Beijing, tables of this scale would have stood at the center of a main hall on which decorative objects would have been displayed
