Chinese Large Shiwan and Polychrome Glazed Standing figure of Bodhidharma
The standing figure modeled with a contemplative expression, wearing a long amber glazed robe over turquoise and iron red garments, his arms folded beneath the voluminous sleeves and a string of prayer beads suspended around his neck. His face, chest and feet are left unglazed, with finely painted facial details.
Height: 21 7/8in.

Condition: overall in fair condition, possibly some vertical firing cracks or hairline; scattered glaze losses, chips, abrasions and surface wear, particularly to the robe. Area of discoloration, firing imperfections and possible old restoration.
