Three terrestrial globes;
The first, a twelve gore lithograph printed in Spanish depicting the world as divided by European territories with a Latin cartouche stating the explorers Columbus, Pissarro, et al, found danger and were blessed by God. 22in. diameter 16in. h.
The second globe, a French sphere terrestre, fourteen gore, depicting the world known to Europeans in the 17th century, including the printed Cardinal Richelieu coat of arms and based upon the Map of Jean Guerard of Dieppe of 1630. 30in. diameter 17in. h
Both on Victorian era stands.
The third globe a 1940's metal student's desk globe 9 1/2in. h
