Soon after graduating from the Academy, Ms. Sikorski left Europe and came to the San Francisco Bay Area. She enrolled at Mills College and worked under guest instructor Max Beckman.She taught portraiture and life drawing at the San Francisco Academy of Art from 1958 to 1965.
