Four Victorian Tin Beer Trays
All lithographed tin, circa pre-prohibition, including one for Akron "White Rock Bottled Beer", titled "Purity", showing an image of a woman and a tiger; the second for "Edelweiss" Beer, Peter Schoenhofen Brewing Co. Chicago, featuring ahead and shoulders illustration of a woman, "Copyright 1913 by PSB Co."; the third is for "PON Christian Feigenspan Brewing Co., Newark, NJ" showing a reproduction of a portrait of a woman by "A. Asti"; and a fourth, in the style of a plate, for "Anheuser-Busch Malt-Sutrine" featuring a classical image of a woman. The three trays all 13" diameter, plate 10" diameter. In Good to Very Good condition with some scratches, scuffs and paint loss. The trays have mounting clips applied to the backs, some with tape remnants and labels to backs.
