H. Reiner Opthalmophantome
Rare late 19th century opthalmophantome, by H. Reiner. Used to train ophthalmologists for eye surgery. Sheep or pigs eyes were placed in the mask and students practiced surgery on the eyes. Mounted on an articulated stand with cast iron base. Mask: 6"h x 5"w x 3.5"d. Total height 14".
