Large Cretan Knife, 1945
Large Cretan Knife, having an embossed silver scabbard decorated with serpents, soldiers, birds, and other symbols. The split bone hilt with engraved nickel grip-strap and back edge of blade, base concealing tweezers with a carved bone and red glass tip. The single edge blade with mantinada and wording, "Xavia, 1945". Blade 13.5", total length 20.75".
