Max Falk (British, 19th Century). A Bavarian Peasant. Oil on panel. Signed, inscribed and dated indistinctly Max Falk 188[...] München'. Measures 9.25 in. high x 7 in. wide (with frame 20 in. high x 17.5 in. wide).
Condition: In good condition. There is a tiny area of loss in the figure's ear. Difficult to read under UV light due to heavy and opaque varnish layer. Frame abrasion.
