The oval platter decorated in the traditional 'Blue Onion' pattern, the rims with stylized peaches and melons around the central bamboo and floral decoration.

Condition: Very good, no chips or cracks

Note: Meissen Blue Onion porcelain produced after 1888 is marked with a small, underglaze-blue crossed swords mark incorporated into the design, on the base of the bamboo stalk on the front of the piece. This mark was introduced to combat imitations and signifies later 19th-century or 20th-century production
