MICHAEL SCHUMACHER is one of the most successful Formula One drivers of all time and a fan favorite, having earned 91-career victories and seven World Championships. The first German ever to win the world title, Schumacher’s first two titles came in consecutive seasons, 1994 and 1995, while driving for Benetton, and he scored five more in consecutive seasons from 2000 and 2004 during his legendary 11-season run with Ferrari. Schumacher was also the dominant F1 driver at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, winning five of the eight United States Grand Prix events held at the Brickyard from 2000 to 2007. He retired at the end of 2006 but made a rather surprising F1 return in 2010, driving for Mercedes. The highlight of his three seasons with the German team was a third-place finish in the 2012 Grand Prix of Europe at Valencia, Spain, where he enjoyed a podium finish for a record 155th and final time.
