With a mix of understated elegance and grand style, Chicago designer Judith Niedermaier burst into the design world with award-winning displays for Bloomingdale’s and Bergdorf Goodman.

In the 1980s, she started her design firm, Niedermaier Inc., designing contemporary minimalist furniture She quickly became a design force with showrooms in Chicago’s Merchandise Mart, New York and Los Angeles.
