Vintage rectangular sign for the "Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Co. Bell System" with blue lettering on a white background "CAUTION, Telephone Cable Underground, Before Working In This Vicinity Call Toll Wire Chief Collect". Circa 1930s, based upon the design of the logo. 24" high x 24" wide. In Very Good condition with loss to porcelain at mounting holes and at "H" in "Telephone". General wear and oxidization, particularly to edges.
