Of flattened rectangular rounded form, the bottle is well hollowed from clear crystal glass. One side masterfully inside - painted in ink with a portrait of the Tang dynasty Buddhist monk and astronomer Yi Yixing (683-727 CE). The portrait is rendered with exquisite shading, capturing a contemplative expression. Inscribed with the title: Kang Liang Shan he ying, tian wen ding xing Chen, Min gong tong wu Zhu, bi shui yuan yi Shen
