Sick's Rainier Illuminated Tavern Sign
Rare vintage electrically lit metal and plastic three dimensional hanging sign in the form of a cased diorama, showing a snowy mountain scene with a glass of beer to the foreground, and a light up "Rainier Beer Since 1878" logo to top. When powered, the light cast on the mountain scene slowly changes color, simulating the changing light from dusk to dawn. Maker's label to back reading "Underwriters Laboratories Inc., Form 1 G 384235" The original instructions are also taped to the back. 18" high a 16" wide x 7" deep. Circa late 1960s. In Very Good condition some scratches and paint loss to frame, some fading to scene colors. Operated well when tested.
