Condition report of Steinway model L number 223195 made in 1924.

This Steinway, with its bridges and soundboard in excellent condition.. It was recently rebuilt with new strings (using  #4 tuning pins) and dampers and the soundboard and plate were refinished.
The piano case was professionally refinished in a medium-gloss black ebony  finish.
New Steinway hammers and shanks were installed using the original wippens and the piano has been minimally played since then.
The keys have a moderately firm touch.
The sound board and bridges are in excellent condition as are the keys and action felts.
The new parts have settled quite a bit and the let off and after touch settings are in need of readjustment.
The ivory key tops are in like new condition.
