Two Steve Miller Band And Thelonious Monk Carousel Ballroom Posters AOR 2.168 & AOR 2.167 And Three Handbills , 1968
Artwork for both posters by Rick Shubb for Carousel Ballroom shows in San Francisco, including one for three shows April 26-28 featuring Steve Miller Band, Jame & Bobby Purify and Sons of Champlin. The second poster is for three shows May 3-5 featuring Thelonious monk, Dr John the Night Tripper, and the Charlatans. Both measure 14" high x 11" wide. In Very Good plus condition with some creases, edge wear to Thelonious Monk poster. Accompanied by three handbills including BG-36 Bola Sete at Fillmore Auditorium; and two for Continental Ballroom, Santa Clara: Steve Miller Band July 28-29, 1967; and Quicksilver Messenger Service, August 4-5, 1967. Largest measure 8" high x 5 3/4' wide. All in Excellent condition.
