Chinese Celadon Landscape Panel Vas

Chinese celadon glazed porcelain vase of baluster form with a flared trumpet neck, the body featuring an intricately reticulated openwork decoration beneath an overall pale celadon glaze. The vase is decorated with two shaped reserved panels including finely painted mountainous landscapes, calligraphic inscriptions and poetic verses. The neck is further embellished with molded scrolling floral decoration in relief. The recessed base bears an apocryphal iron- red seal mark. Raised on a carved fitted wood base.
Height of the vase: 10 1/4 in( 26.5 cm).
