Chinese Famille Verte Dragon Vase
Apocryphal Six character Kangxi Mark
The elegantly potted vase with compressed ovoid body rising to a tall slender neck and widely flared mouth, finely enameled in iron red, green, aubergine and black with a powerful five - clawed dragon writhing amid stylized flame scrolls, its scaly body dynamically coiled. The lower body is bordered by green overlapping waves divided by rock work. The base bears an underglaze blue six-character mark reading: Da Qing Kangxi Nian Zhi with a double circle.
Height: 15 1/8 inches (38.4 cm).

Condition: Overall in good condition, minor surface wear, light scratches and scattered firing imperfections consistent with age and manufacturing. Some minor rubbing and variation to enamels. No cracks, chips or restoration observed .
