Chinese Famille Rose Bird and Flower Teapot
Ju Ren Tang zhi Mark, Mid-20th Century.
The globular teapot is finely enameled in the famille rose palette with two birds perched on flowering branches of peony and chrysanthemum, all within scrolling green foliate borders. The shoulder with a band of floral sprays, the neck with yellow leiwen border. The base bears a four character iron red seal mark Ju Ren Tang zhi within a square. Complete with matching domed cover.
6 7/8 in. (18 cm) high.
Condition: Overall good, no chips, cracks or repairs noted under UV light.
