Chinese Famille Verte Porcelain Charger
Lingzhi fungus symbol within double blue circles, which is characteristic of the Kangxi period (1662-1722).
Late 18th Century , possibly Qianlong Period, (1736 -1795). Decorated in famille verte enamels with an elegant courtyard scene depicting noble figures before a pavillion enclosed with a diaper - pattern border with floral cartouches. An excellent example of Qing Dynasty Chinese export porcelain produced for the European market.
Condition report: Overall fair condition with scattered chips, fritting, and abrasion along the rim; surface scratches, rubbing, and areas of enamel loss throughout. Minor staining, firing imperfections, and general wear consistent with age and use. Please refer to photographs for additional condition details.
Size of the charger: Diameter: approx. 14 in. (36 cm), height: approx. 4 1/8 in. (11 cm).
