Referred to as the “Magic Box†circa 1955. The hinged box form opening to a series of pigeon holes, document dividers and shelves, one fitted with a desk lamp, above a fold out writing surface.
The original was made by the Swiss cabinet maker Mummenthaler & Meier, perhaps inspired by the Victorian era Wooton desk.
