Sarajevo Knife and Fork Set, 1879
Sarajevo knife and fork set in a leather sheath with silver tip and mouth, the carved bone hilts with decorative red bead and circular metal inlay, the fork and knife blades extending from brass collars decorated in scrollwork, the knife with writing "Sarajevo, 1879". Knife blade 8.5", overall length 14.75".
Wear to leather on scabbard. Age related crack in fork handle, and several hairlines to bone. Brass collar separating on fork. Wear consistent with use and age.
